On September 2, we visited Eizen total of eight people, five interns and three of our employees attended the visit.
First, President Katagiri, the company’s representative, explained the history of the company’s founding and its business activities. Afterward, we toured the company’s facilities and related sites, visiting the Oshio River Stable, Creative House Bunka, and the pottery studio. Seeing these facilities firsthand deepened our understanding of the company’s history and operations, and we gained a sense of how closely the business is intertwined with the local community.
We also toured a row house with a history of about 100 years, which deepened our understanding of the culture and history rooted in the community; the interns watched with great interest.
Finally, we held an exchange session where the interns’ asked questions of the employees and presented a cross-cultural quiz about the cultures of their home countries. The quiz included prizes and was a great success, allowing the employees to deepen their understanding of other cultures while having fun.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Eizen for their cooperation in arranging this workplace tour.
