On September 3, we visited the offices of Nichiei a company primarily engaged in the hotel cleaning business. A total of eight people five interns and three of our employees attended the visit, which allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of the work environment and the nature of their operations. During the tour, we received an explanation of hotel cleaning operations and learned that cleaning and managing guest rooms is an essential task for ensuring that guests have a comfortable and worry-free stay.
Afterward, we held a social gathering where the interns asked questions of the employees and presented a quiz about their home countries, allowing everyone to enjoy a fun cross-cultural exchange.
Through this workplace tour, I believe the interns were able to deepen their understanding of the hotel housekeeping industry and gain insight into the appeal of working in Japan and of a job that brings joy to guests. It was also a very meaningful experience for them to get a behind-the-scenes look at hotel housekeeping something they rarely have the opportunity to see.We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Nichiei for warmly welcoming us.
