Internship: Workplace Tour at Nikkoprocess

As part of our internship program, we conducted a workplace tour at Nikkoprocess on September 3. It was a valuable experience for our interns to see firsthand the creative world of printing and bookbinding.

Although the interns looked a bit nervous at first, they were filled with surprise and excitement as they got to see specialized machinery which is usually kept under wraps as trade secrets and experience the production floor firsthand. The tour allowed them to gain a concrete understanding of the actual work processes and the workplace environment, making it a highly meaningful experience.

Following the tour, we moved on to a Q&A session where the interns asked questions of the employees, who answered each one sincerely. The words of the employees who excel as professionals by leveraging their ability to propose solutions and respond effectively seemed to provide the interns with tremendous inspiration as they consider their future careers.

In the second half, our employees spoke on the topic of “The Current State of Hiring Foreign Workers,” while the interns shared their insights on “Job Hunting in Japan.”

The program concluded with a social gathering featuring a “Cross-Cultural Quiz” planned by the interns, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere filled with natural smiles that transcended nationalities and roles.

Through this visit, we were able to deepen our understanding of the real-world workplace environment at Nikko Process. We hope that for Nikko Process, which kindly hosted us, this opportunity to interact with international talent served as a catalyst for new insights and a broader perspective. As for our company, we will continue to pursue diverse initiatives to serve as a bridge connecting international students with companies.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nikkoprocess for your valuable time.
